Marrón tirando a sucia.

330ml bottle from La Buena Pinta in Mercado de San Fernando, Madrid. Pours a very light yellow with a tiny head. Lively carbonation. Aromas & tastes of honey, citrus & yeast. Moderate body. Dry finish. I brought this by mistake.. I don't think I'm a fan of mead's, because the few times I've tried them I've not really enjoyed them.

33 cl bottle from El Club del Gourmet, Alcalá de Henares. Served in Riedel Horeca glass. A hazy golden pour with a greenish cast to it. Almost no head, just a short-lived, foamy white ring. Aroma is that of Italian prosecco or German sekt: lemon, honey, bread, green apple. Mouth is dry, bubbly, crisp, easy-going. A tad of bitterness at the end and some funky aftertaste (mostly unconspicuous.) Easy to drink, easy to forget.

33 cl bottle served in Baladin chalice. Hazy dark amber pour with a gigantic, really rocky, heavy lacing, off-white to grayish, persistent head. Aroma is quite dusty, with hints of citrus fruits and malty reminiscences. But mostly dust. Lacks body and structure. Flat, just above average bitterness (quite low for an IPA.) Abrupt finish. No wonder it's a limited edition.

Bottle at a tasting. Overall very weirdly neutral. Slightly earthy, grassy, but nothing really stands out here. If it was an effort at brewing an euro-ale, I would say it is a success. Rather high carbonation, rather thin body, overall feels bland though. Not bad, not good either. Ok.
