From a Kroger can this pours a little darker than average pale and it seems to be quite thick. Big fruity rude aroma with a mild cleaning pine fluid nose. Taste is big bad-ass and bitter. BBAB! I second that with an upper gullet warming sensation. Its near the big ten; and you feel it. In the end, is it possible I detect some sensations of unthinkingly dizzy. Whew. What else can be said? One bitter straight up ass, terribly on style, IPA IPA brew. There you have it, another ubiquitously available style, duh.

From a can you get a surprisingly clear liquid (considering the name, heheh) with a big foamy pour. It has just a very slight haze but no way is this hazy. No real offensive IPA smells in this one. Taste is big bad IPA of course and possibly it has a bit of an aged feeling to it. Date code is CMB1 9198 2361, whatever that means. Yes, big bitter IPA bullshit, like any other of the thousand ubiquitous IPA out there. What else can be said? NOTHING. Oh well, so goes the tick. Not impressed.

My can says strawberry banana pig, so I hope this rating is in the right place. Smells like strawberry from the time you open the can. In the taste the banana is not immediately apparent. Yes, so strawberry, perhaps dull, but no real sign of nannah. Clear pale yellow in my mug. Taste keeps coming back to dull strawberry on dull lager beer. Yes, should be rated as a fruit beer, not a cream ale, hehehjehehhh. Maybe there is a strawberry banana pig listing? Just asking. There, you have it. Yes, on the can it says, pigweizen, so this must not be the same beer. I guess I'll go and make a new moerlee listing? JMHO.

Can from kroger. in northern kentucky on route 71. Pour is clear orangish yellow. Smell is a little perfumy sweet. Some co2. Goes down very easy, not as sweet as expected. Gentle and a little bit civilized fer sher. VI was expecting something more like a hellis from the look but this stuff is more like a gentle dark lager in taste. As a lager lover, I'm pleasantly surprised. Decent stuff.

Bottle: Clear, dark brown/red with a short beige head. Rye, chocolate, leafy aroma. Taste is a leafy bitter....rye malt, an odd sort of bitter chocolate/resin mashup. Toasty caramel malt and rye. Woody....not much spice to the rye.... Interesting.

Can: Clear gold with a very tall, off-white head. Grapefruit, old orange aroma. Taste is a slightly grainy bitter, citrus-peel, orange malt. Not bad, but didn't really pick up on any melon notes.

Grainy barley malt and straw. Dark amber with small head. Moderately sweet corn syrup, barley malt, and moderately bitter/astringent fresh hay flavor. Okay body. A bit too sweet.

Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum can from shrubber85 poured into a glass. Clear amber with small of-white head. Aroma is caramel malt, medium body, well carbonated but dissipates quickly. Taste is nice caramel malt. Double benefit here pretty nice and pushed me to double digits for helles.

Orange, biscuit malt, and grapefruit peel aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Mildly sweet orange, biscuit malt, and mildly bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Body one the light side. Pleasant, easy drinking, straight forward APA.
