Can at Brūstok 2026 with the Prague tasting crew. Hazy yellow-golden body, white head. Juicy citric aroma, bit herbal. Bit oaty, wheaty taste, sweetish, low light coconut, ends somewhat dry. Quite drinkable but the hop profile is too low even for a Micro NEIPA.

Tap at Brūstok 2026 with Gurthnar. Brown body, no head. Coffee, some black patent malt and light alcohol in the aroma. Lean, dry malty, roasty, smooth alcohol-driven taste, pleasant roastiness, almost peaty, but as the assistant brewer said, it does need some barrel treatment to shine. Way too rough and raw for my tastes currently!

Can at Brustok 2026. Thin bod, a bit watery feeling. Barely med bitter, med-light candyish sweet. Hops do not pop, no juiciness. Tired feeling general citrusy and exotic complex. Average. 3 new beers and all fail similarly.

Can at Brustok 2026. Thin bod, med carbo, feeling quite watery. Med-high bitter, a bit sharp grassy edge. Medium candyish sweet, there was a lot of that in aroma too. Hops is just kinda med, does not pop. Medium general citrusy and pineapply vibe. Goodish, not greatish.

Can at Brustok 2026. Med cereal, med-full bod. Med carbo, a bit lacking. Medium generically tropical hops character, does not pop though. A bit grassy. Average hazy.

Tap at Brustok 2026. Med body, deep attenuation relative to ABV. Low carbo. Med-high bitter, med warmth, med sweet. Not very rich in the malt department though. There is ample roast, but not exactly delicious sipper.

Tap at Brūstok 2026, with Gurthnar of course! Hazy yellow body, off-white head. Somehow buttery, vaguely lemony aroma. Lean, soft, smooth taste, buttery and citric... err... what? Worse than the sum of its parts somehow. Not on the level of Vik or Twinberg, but a fun experiment.

Tap at Brūstok 2026, without Gurthnar this time! Bit hazy golden body, off-white head. Caramelly aroma, somewhat floral, light coconut. Lean, dry taste, malt-forward more than expected, bit citric, tea notes, light bitterness. Feels old I have to say... disappointing for Vik's standards if not.

Tap at Brustok 2026. Med sweet, lactoseish feeling. Light sour. No bitter, hops or malt. Light yogurty funkishness, light lime, light general exotic fruity feeling. Not to be the bad guy, but what is Thai about this exactly? No chilli present even. Weird choices.

440ml Can @ Benzai's Anti-Carnival Valentine's Day Tasting, Feb 26. New brewery for me.. tasted after another hoppy lager but very much a different hop profile.. less citrussy with more lager malt shining through.. not bad at all.
