12 oz bottle. Poured a clear brown with a touch of orange with a small white head. Aroma was cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin. Flavor was a nice, sweet pumpkin pie beer with graham crackers and a hint of clove. Alcohol is higher than I expected.

Bottle courtesy of obguther at the 12th Richmond Ratebeer Gathering on 09/18/2010. Mostly clear golden body with a medium creamy off-white head. Sweet floral and spice aroma. Sweet floral and spice aroma with a very gentle malt background. Light body with moderately high carbonation.

Bottle from the brewery on 09/08/2010. Dark black body with a medium creamy brown head. Big coffee and roast aroma with chocolate and some woody notes. BIg coffee, vanilla, roast, chocolate, and light wood flavor. Medium full body with moderate carbonation.

Bottle. Pours black with offwhite, almost tan head. Nose of roasted malts and burnt coffee grounds. Taste of burnt malts, mocha and old coffee with Fuggles.

Apricot aroma with apple and banana hints. Hazy amber, fountains of carbonation from the bottom of the glass, thick billowy head, some lacing. Full body. A bit on the sweet side, with just a touch of funk. Flavor is less identifiable than the aroma. Apricots, apples, and banana somewhat discernible. Alcohol not noticeable. This beer was highly recommended by multiple sources I trust and admire and they are mainly right. It’s slightly off balanced, but otherwise, it is a great beer. Good complexity, flavorful, enjoyable to drink.

Bottle at ChrisO "I’m Trying to see the Stool" pre GBBF2010 tasting. Lovely choc flavours. Done really well. Some heat on the finish, but a good choc heat. smooth and cultured and very good.

Courtesy of ksurkin. Pours dark with mahogany edges and mocha head. The aroma is pretty darn rich with molasses, caramel, prunes, dried cherries, chocolate, a mild note of black licorice and a muted array of Noble hops. The taste is smooth with near creamy molasses, burnt malts, caramel, dark roastiness, chocolate and a bit of toffee. Well put together.

Bottle 22fl.oz. @ ChrisOs Pre-GBBF Shindig 2010.[ Raise The Roof Tasting ]. Unclear medium to dark amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus - orange. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100731]

Bottled@The Chriso Rock The Roof Down pre-GBBF shindig. Rubyish coppery colour with small off-white head. Aroma is quite much fruity, some sap as well as quite much toffee, some alcohol as well as plum. Flavour is being quite much the same, but also has a bit spicy and wooden touch to it. Flavour is not that alcoholic as the aroma would let know. Big time hoppy sweetness and bitterness in the finish. A rather pleasant brew!
