on tap-pours a thin white head and yellow color. Aroma is citrus-orange, wheat/light malt. Taste is citrus-orange, wheat/light malt, creamy/musty. Nice. Mild carbonation.

22 ounce bottle from the brewery, bottle #1594. A slightly brown-tinged red color. Medium head does not stick around long at all. Light attempts at lacing.Very sweet, fruity aroma. The fruitness expresses itself as apricots and other stone fruits. Some caramel and the corn makes itself known. Definite caramel and fruit notes. The fruitiness shows the apricot again with some tart berry notes. Subtle grassy notes. Some astringent alcohol makes its presence known also. Medium bodied.

12 ounce bottle from a sampler. Batch code Orange pour with no head. Heather appears in the aroma with citrus and caramel notes. The heather is less noticeable amongst the sweet grainy notes in the taste, showing up as a more herbal note. Thick and syrupy texture. I’m not a fan. No signs of infection. Batch code 088017.

22 oz. bottle from the brewery, batch code 00015. Viscous looking golden color with vry big carbonation bubbles. Big frothy head with great retention and lacing. Very bready aroma with some grassy notes and subtle hops. Taste is very grainy with some fruity notes. Medium bodied.

12 ounce bottle from Green Leafe Cafe, New Town location. Bronze pour with little black floaties and a big head. Kinda bland earthy hop aroma. Very bitter and earthy hop taste. Medium body. Pleasant, but not very complex.

12oz bottle. Thick amber-brown color. Very thick bodied, with a strong, pungent amber malt taste. Delicately hopped, allowing the malt to take center stage. The sourness in the beer is very enjoyable and complex. Good example of a malty American Amber Ale.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a ruby tint and a nice thinnish tan head. Aroma of raisins, tobacco, roasted malt, caramel (big time), cherries and some brown sugar - very nice! Full-bodied; Strong malty flavour with a good amount of hops and a potent sweetness that lasts quite a while. Aftertaste shows character with tobacco and molasses along with some raisins and figs. Overall, a very nice beer, a shade away from a barley wine - but great to try! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Grape & Gourmet in Virginia Beach, tasted on 03-July-2008 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

Bottle from somewhere. Pours a hazy orange with a three finger very persistent head. Aroma of banana creme pie. Can’t taste much other than infection. Butters and I must have gotten the same batch! I’ll pick up another next time I see it.

Bottle. Hazy, dark amber body with a small, off-white head. The aroma is initially citrusy with notes of orange and grapefruit with a hint of grass. Strong malty notes of grain, toast and caramel. The flavor is moderately sweet, moderately bitter and moderately acidic. The finish is lightly bitter, but is lasting. Medium body with a fairly smooth texture, just slightly on the watery side. Average carbonation. Above-average IPA, but not as clean (too heavy on the malts) nor as robust in aroma as my favorite India pale ales. Thanks to BigMaze.
