Bottle from somewhere. Pours a hazy orange with a three finger very persistent head. Aroma of banana creme pie. Can’t taste much other than infection. Butters and I must have gotten the same batch! I’ll pick up another next time I see it.

Bottle. Hazy, dark amber body with a small, off-white head. The aroma is initially citrusy with notes of orange and grapefruit with a hint of grass. Strong malty notes of grain, toast and caramel. The flavor is moderately sweet, moderately bitter and moderately acidic. The finish is lightly bitter, but is lasting. Medium body with a fairly smooth texture, just slightly on the watery side. Average carbonation. Above-average IPA, but not as clean (too heavy on the malts) nor as robust in aroma as my favorite India pale ales. Thanks to BigMaze.

Pours dark brown with brownish head. Roasty, caramel malt, light touch of coffee, sugar cane is present. Very impressed, wish this beer was available here in FL.

Bottle, courtesy of Butters. Batch 0001. Very slightly hazy pale golden body with a medium frothy white head. Light corn and fruit aroma. Grainy, lightly fruity aroma with some corn, light floral hops hiding in the background. Medium light body with fairly high carbonation.

Bottle from Once Upon a Vine North in Richmond. Hazy pour is the color of Boston baked beans. Fruity aroma with caramel, toffee and berry notes. Taste is hoppy with berry and sour cherry notes along with a malty finish. A little on the thin side. Some people below seem to be getting sour notes and some are not. I did. Do we have infection issues again?

Nice slightly hazy ruby tinted deep caramel body with a thinnish off-white head. Aroma of grapes, malt, yeast and a bit of candy sugar. Light-bodied; Strong grape flavour coupled with malt and a bit of raisin flavour. Aftertaste shows a very light bodied beer with most of the taste just on the malt. Overall, a light beer that should be drunk on a hot summer day on the water (due to the name & front of the beer). I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Chevy Chase Wine & Liquors on 03-May-2008, on the Eastern Shore of Virginia on 26-May-2008.

Nice deep brown coloured body with a thinnish tan head and some bubbles rising from the bottom. Aroma of sour grapes, malt, tobacco and even a bit of nuts. Medium-bodied; Strong malty flavour with the potent sour qualities tucked in with a bit of sweetness. Aftertaste shows more of the same, something funky going on for the majority of the taste. Overall, a decent beer - not absolutely horrible, but I was expecting a bit more from this one. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Grape & Gourmet in Virginia Beach, Virginia on 25-May-2008 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

Bottle thanks to maniac’s generosity! Pours dark cola/chocolate brown with a medium head that reduces a bit but isn’t in a hurry. Dark fruit/raisin aroma is very strong, with some toffee and chocolate. Taste is very strong chocolate with some graininess and alcohol. Damn, this is good.

On tap at Capital Ale House - Midlothian. Clear copper amber body with a small off-white head. Very faint aroma, light honey. Very sweet caramel and light malt flavor, subtle floral hops and a fairly dry lightly bitter finish and some slight belgian fruitiness. Medium body with moderate carbonation.
