Canned from somewhere in Prague, shared with Ogi and Hrabren. Murky golden-yellow body, off-white head. Elderflower and brown sugar in the aroma, lightly vegetal. lime is not that present. Dry, vegetal, elderflower, lightly citric taste. Maybe it was better slightly more fresh, but this is questionable, Philly's definitely Philly, too low on tartness, it's salty, but the vegetal notes are putting everything down, backed by low phenolic. Whatever the cause is - and this was in the fridge constantly - this is a bit dead and not tasty.

Tap at Slunce ve skle 2024. Dark red-purple body, pink head gone soon. Jammy aroma, huge mixed berry jam notes, tart. Earthy blackcurrant in the nicely lean, tart taste, bit citric, but the tartness grows a bit out of balance in the end. Still, digging what they are doing with this line.

Pours a pale light golden, transparent. Pretty big fluffy white head, shows very good retention and nice lacing. The aroma shows moderate smoked notes (mainly peaty), delicate maltiness with straw, white bread, a crackery hint, light citric notes (mainly lemonish); everything feels delicate but not subdued, very clean, nice. Taste notes follow the aroma closely: smoked feel almost absent in the mouth, shows up more clearly in the aftertaste. Quite light in both sweetness and bitterness, with a delicate, very balanced feel. There's just the slightest hint of sourness. Mildly sweet, clean finish and aftertaste. Light bodied as obvious, average to high tingling, small-bubbled carbonation brings a slightly soft feel to a super drinkable beer. Goes down so easy. Very, very nice.

500ml Can - Light amber with a fairly foamy head. Bread, grass and hints of lime and honey in the aroma. Herbal and grassy taste with a subtle sweetness and notes of rye bread and orange. Herbal aftertaste in the finish.

Very “purple” taste. Tart berries, not sweet at all, refreshing!

Pours very dark brown, looks practically black in the glass. Brown, low to medium sized head; quite good retention, little to no lacing. Average intensity in a clean aroma: toasted barley, quite light coffee notes, a bit of chocolate, light fruit cake hints, a slightly green/balsamic feel suggesting a good dose of hoppiness. Taste notes follow the aroma: decent complexity, good taste intensity, nicely clean. Quite high in both sweetness and bitterness with a balanced mouth and a pretty dry, rather bitter finish (though there's also a hint of fruity sweetness aftertaste that feels a little offbeat to me). Quite dense in body (more than expected for the abv), with average, fine-bubbled carbonation; the mouthfeel feels like the only real weakness to me: rather heavy but somehow not full or creamy in the mouth. Overall still a pleasant slow sipper.

Can 0.5l. Almost clear, amber colored. AROMA- toasted malts, berries, strawberry, red currant, hawthorn, rowanberries, bread crusts. FLAVOR- slightly sweet, slightly bitter, the same as aroma, earthy. Medium bodied. Very good.
