Slightly hazy gold with a large white head that left good lacing. Tangy and sweet with strong honey and orange and a grainy and yeasty undertone. Long finish. Medium body

12 oz can from Total Wine. Pours a hazy yellow-gold color with a small white head and poor retention. xxxx lacing. Very faint lime aroma. The lime flavor is only slightly stronger than the lime aroma, with a short, crisp finish. Thankfully not slimy like many lime lagers. Very macro-tasting. Thin, watery body. High carbonation. Not bitter at all. Okay. A pool beer.

Dark brown almost black with a three-finger, tan head. Aroma is light chocolate, coffee and dark roasted grains. Taste is more in depth chocolate, coffee and dark roasted grains.

Pour is a clear yellow with a large white head. Aroma is sweet malt. Flavor is more sweet malt but also super watery. Fine for a low carb beer but not much to it.

The brew from this $2 can does not look anything like chocolate, its simply regular clear pale. Slight thin white head. Nose is somewhat mild chocolate. Taste is mostly some odd sweet flavored kinda lager. Can't really pick out any ale attributes in this. Yea, think; a macro pale lager that somebody added some artificial chocolate candy sugar. In the middle, maybe getting some chocolate. And maybe, there is some on the aftertaste of each slug, but I'm telling you this may be an insult to the sarris chocolate candy name. I think sarris ottah be a little more careful on what beers they let their name on. If you want a real sarris chocolate beer, try Penn Brewery Sarris Peanut Butter Meltaway Chocolate Stout. That stuff looks, smells, feels and really tastes like sarris chocolates. This one by great lakes was certainly a let down. Oh well. This beer aint bad, it goes down easy, its just lacking the chocolate nomenclature. Hey wait, I just burped some chocolate, LoL.

0.355l can. Dark brown body with a ruby hue and a light brown head. Aroma and taste of caramel, raisins, dates, cocoa, coffee and some grassy hops. Nice porter. I'm really happy to be able to try another good beer from Michael Jackson's Great Beer Guide. Gotta catch'em all!
