5.6/10 β€” Appearance 4 Aroma 6.5 Flavor 6 Texture 6 Overall 5
Bottle drank at the brewery's taproom / bar in Point Seraphine, St. Lucia. Murky reddish brown color, no head. Aroma and flavor are malts, rum, perhaps some tropical fruit notes but mostly the rum (and slightly wood) dominates. IPA's aging on barrels: it hardly ever works.

Tap at the brewery's taproom / bar in Point Seraphine, St. Lucia. Black color, mocha colored head. Aroma and flavor are malts, cocoa, malty bitterness. Aroma also has cocoa powder and fairly heavy roasted malts. Decent body, relatively thin texture, average to medium carbonation.

Tap at the brewery's taproom / bar in Point Seraphine, St. Lucia. Clear amber color, medium to full sized white head. Aroma is malts, softly sweetish floral. Flavor is malts, hayish grainy a bit and a slight tart twist in the finish. Intentional or not is hard to tell. Drinkable but imo the citrus IPA was way better!

Tap at the brewery's taproom / bar in Point Seraphine, St. Lucia. Clear dark golden to copper / amber color, medium sized white head. Aroma is indeed citrusy. It's not that clear though in the flavor, although there's clearly plenty of hop in there. Especially in the finish there is a real pleasant hoppy bitter finish. Pretty nice, I like it.

Bottle at the brewery. Golden color, white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, a bit soapy hoppy, decently bitter, a bit sticky hoppiness in the end. Decent body, a bit firm carbonation. Okay.

Bottle at the brewery. Dark brown to black color, average sized off-white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, iron / metallic, mineral, roasty, chocolate, roasty bitterness. Typical English style foreign stout. Towards the finish there is a slight tropical twist, brewer would tell me the brewers secret, rightfully so, but there's definitely a tropical twist in there. On point for the style.

Bottle at the brewery, hidden far away in the hills of Soufriere. Can't tell color, had to drink from the bottle. Aroma is very fruity and floral. Flavor is perfectly balanced and made for this climate: light, softly sweetish, tropical fruity, very balanced, floral notes and softly bitter. Absolutely delicious in these conditions. Very well done!

Bottle from the source, drank at my Airbnb. Murky light brown with no head. Caramel malt upfront with citrus and green weedy hops behind. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle from the source drank back at my Airbnb in Rodney Bay. It’s no looker. A bit of a murky light brown with no head. Aroma screams fruity rum and oak barrel upfront. A little boozy, pineapple, tropical fruits, coconut notes. I’m no fan of IPAs being this strong but it is pretty nice, at least if you like rum.
