At a ttasting, thanks, smallish creamy brown head, pitch black color, aromatic coffee aroma with wood and toasted dark bread, roasted coffee and chocolate flavor with some carob, noticable bitterness, very dry, medium bodied. Nice and enjoyable.

From can to glass. Restrained orange and slight tropical fruit. Hazy sunset orange with moderate white head that is well retained and leaves massive patterning down the glass. Flavor is low citrus and moderate dank, with overassetive bittering to hold up to the malt of a session. Bready malt.

Bottle from Safeway. It pours a dark brown color with a small tan head. The aroma has walnut brownies with a touch of vanilla and alcohol. The flavor is a little soda-like with hints of bourbon, vanilla, smores and brownie. The body is a bit lacking and doesnβt do a very good job supporting all the flavors. I wish it was a bit richer with more chocolate rather than soda. Not bad though.

355ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with small to average, thick, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Mild, husky, malt-spicy aroma, a floral touch. Taste is husky, malt-spicy, slightly bitter hoppy overtones with a floral touch. Simple, unspectacular.

Shared from bottle at deansoβs. Clear dark brown, light tan head. Sweet chocolate malts, light vanilla, brown sugar, haagse hopjes. Very sweet. Medium body, soft and round feel, but still quite light. Nice bittersweet butterscotch finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Uniontown Porter on 23 Dec 2017 at 13:27 - Score: 7. Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Clear very dark reddish brown with beige head. Caramel, sweet nuts, brown sugar, light coffee, dried figs, light bitter herbs. Over medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium bodied with slick feel and low carbonation.

From a 355ml bottle on 19/10/2016. Pours close to black with a small head. The nose is roasty and nutt, with a bit of vanilla.. The flavour features dark chocolate with hints of caramel, coffee and vanilla, along with some mild vinous notes. The bitterness is quite sharp with some burnt character to it. Full bodies with moderate carbonation. A solid enough stout.
