Sample at the Brews Cafe "Spring Forward" beer festival on 03/09/2013: The beer pours a clear amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of grainy malt and hops. Medium-bodied with flavors of resiny hops, earthy malt and a bit of citrus. The finish is moderately bitter with a hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.
Tap at Cincy Beerfest. Brown sugar, tea-like malt, and slightly peaty aroma. Hazy amber with a small off-white head. Sweet peaty malt and fruity tea flavor. Light body, flat carbonation.
Tap at Cincy Beerfest. Sweet orange, grapefruit aroma - very light. Golden straw color with a small white head. Citrus peel and honey wheat malt flavor. Light astringent body, soft carbonation.
Draft. Banana, wheat malt and orange peel aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with small head. Sweet banana/lemon and wheat malt flavor. Light orange peel finish. Very nice.
