Description
At the very beginning of the beginning, there is Gildard Launay. A beer enthusiast who starts brewing as an amateur, who hack tinkers, tests, misses and starts over again and again. Quickly he began to participate in amateur brewing competitions and already won some great rewards.

In 2012, it was a social plan that prompted him to launch out as a professional and to brew in his farmhouse in Berigny in the Channel. This is how the La Cambrousse brewery was born in the heart of the Normandy countryside, which produces beers that go off the beaten track, which stand out from Belgian and German styles.

And then ... Brewing is good, but it takes a lot of time, and there is everything else to manage ... In 2015, when its production tool is reaching its limits and it is time to '' invest in larger facilities to be able to meet the growing demand from lovers of La Cambrousse. He was joined in this adventure by Mickael Diascorn and Renaud Tignon, who at the end of 2015 went from clients to partners in this great adventure and thus gave birth to the La Bieregerie brewery. After a year spent without a fixed brewery, La Bieregerie invests and sets up 33 route de Trouville in Caen.

Bottle at Moon and Sons. Light hazy light pale golden. Lots of fruity hops with plenty of citrus and a tropical touch, spruce and pine and dank resinous herbal notes. Light malts. Not a oat soup, but still not a lot of malts and a light body. Solid medium bitter. Quite nice.

Bottle. Color: Black, dense light brown head. Aroma: Sweetish, roasted malt, subtle fruity notes. Taste: Sweetish, lactose, dark roasted malt, subtle dark chocolate, notes of molasses. Only very light fruity notes of Calvados. Medium sweet, moderate bitterness. Medium to just under medium body, below average carbonation. Dry-ish mouthfeel and bittery palate at finish. Quite nice for this beerstyle.

Bottle. Color: Bit hazy mix of yellow/orange/red, large dense white head, a lot of tiny carbonation bubbles. Aroma: Hoppy, floral, fruity hints. Taste: Hoppy, floral, subtle tropical fruit notes. Candy-like hints. Bit foamy mouthfeel. Moderate sweetness, over moderate bitterness going to medium bitter palate at finish. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Brut-like indeed, although I've had more Brut-like IPA's. Unusual taste. Ok.

Bottle. Color: Hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Citrus hop, tropical fruit, pineapple, grapefruit. Taste: Tropical fruit, hop and malt fighting for the win. Both hop and malt are prominent. Some resinous hop. Pretty dense body. Lightly boozy. Over moderate to medium bitterness, moderate to over moderate sweet. Slightly sticky mouthfeel. Long lasting finish. Now this is what I call a good DIPA. Very nice.
