At Brasserie Pinte de Saire, we don't just brew beer. Since we opened our doors in 2017, we have put all our mind and all our heart to work, selecting the best ingredients for our Chinquante. The result: tasty, elegant and authentic craft beers.

Three friends, in their thirties, decide in November 2017 to launch a craft brewery and offer their local beer. It will proudly carry the values of La Manche (50). The idea of "CHINQUANTE" is launched, its name refers to the department of Manche with a touch of Norman dialect. Its logo illustrates the famous Tours Vauban as a beer tap. One of the 3 friends has been a brewer from father to son for 6 generations to guarantee you the maximum amount of know-how inside a Chinquante.

Fles op vakantie in Normandië geprobeerd met Inoven. Het is een troebel geel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van mout en een hint gist. De smaak is moutig en zacht bitter.

Flesje gekocht tijdens vakantie en gedronken met Tomhendriksen. Goudgeel troebel bier met matig schuim dat als een film blijft liggen. Heel licht moutig aroma. Smaak is fruitig en iets hoppig. Nasmaak is licht bitter.

Flesje gedeeld door Tomhendriksen (gekocht tijdens vakantie). Goudgeel troebel bier met grof schuim dat meteen wegzakt. Aroma van jus d’orange en sinaasappelschil. Smaak is fruitig en iets bitter. Smaak trekt snel weg.

Fles op vakantie in Normandië geprobeerd met Inoven. Het is een troebel oranje geel bier met een medium witte schuimkraag welke snel weg ebt. Het heeft een sinaasappel(schil) achtige geur. De smaak is vol fruitig, sinaasappel en bitter.

Bottle. Bought and rated 3 months after bbf date, no warning at the shop unfortunately. Color: Hazy golden, thin white head. Aroma: Hop and malt. Taste: Grassy hop, over moderate to medium bitterness, malty moderate sweet background. Bitter palate at finish. Medium body, average carbonation. Some cardboard, most probably only because of the age. I think the rating would have been a bit higher when tasted fresh. Blaming the shop for still selling this 3 months after date and myself for not watching the date, not blaming the brewer.
