Can Crisp grassy and herbal hop aroma. Pale yellow, white lace. Medium light very dry herbal and light metallic bittering hops, initially puckering, then it expands to grassy, green tea and nettle notes. Hayish malt underneath. Sparkly. Big bittering hop finish. Old rating ;-) brilliant crisp pilsner.....................................................

One of the best pilsners in the world. I was shocked at its appearance: I've never seen a beer so crystalline in appearance before. Amazing yellow gold color - it was like looking through glass. Moderate nose, lightly hopped. Flavor was roundly sweet with medium bitterness. Aftertaste was long and very balanced, with a lingering sweetness. It takes real expertise to make a beer like this.

Sampled at a falafel stand in Hamburg, well, it's not all that good. Sampled somewhere that knows how to keep and serve beer, this is one of the leanest, meanest pilsners in Germany. Excellent stuff.
