Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours golden amber with a small off-white head and good lacing. Malts are the mainstay of the aroma, plus some hints of marmalade. Sweet and watery in the mouth with malts again prominent, alongside a fair dose of caramel and traces of orange and barley sugar. A little bitterness in the finish. This is reasonable though somewhat bland.

Keg @ Indian Brewery, Birmingham. Pours a misty golden orange, white head. Aroma is sweet mango ice pop, flavour profile presents juicy moderately sweet mango, medium to light bodied, gentle pale malt. Ok.

Keg half @ Indian Brewery with Blackhaddock. Pours clear gold, white head. Pale malt aroma, flavour profile is a touch more flavoursome than the Pekok lager, but generally quite a mild lager character, gently sweet, light bodied, some corn. Passable lager.

Half pint @ Indian Brewery, with Blackhaddock. We guessed this was the correct one, as beers were brought without telling us which is which. Pale gold pour, small white head. Very lightly discernible pale malt aroma, flavour profile weak and insipid, watery even.. really not a lot going on here at all.

Draft @ Indian Brewery, Birmingham. Unsure if it was cask or keg. Assumed it was keg, as didn't state on the menu. Pours clear gold, receding white head. Not much aroma, flavour profile weak and insipid. Not much hoppy elements to grasp hold of. Really wasn't feeling this at all.

Keg pint at the Indian Brewery outlet in Birmingham on 25th January 2024, with Mat. By far the best of the four beers we tried of theirs while having a meal. Misty orange with a decent white crown. It's a Mango feast, juicy and sweet, not much hop action to temper the Mango, but my sweet tooth enjoyed it.

Keg half-pint at the Indian Brewery outlet in Birmingham on 25th January 2024, with Mat. Huge white billowing crown on top of a clean and clear golden body, looked like an ice cream. Slight malty aroma and taste, 100% better than it's stable mate Pekok.
