Can from Beer Republic. Black with a creamy, beige head. Aroma of toasted marshmallows, coconut, sarsaparilla. Taste has bitter overtones on top of a sweet base with a lingering mix of marshmallow, coconut and root beer. Medium bodied, mild carbonation, chewy. I feared this might be a sweet mess, but the sweetness doesn’t get out of hand. Still a dessert beer, but well executed.

Black with a trace tan head. Bourbon, coconut, cocoa, molasses, dark fruit and rum. Very long finish. Full bodied but fairly flat.
