Sampled on draft at the Cranberry PA location this beer poured a rich red-amber color with a small khaki head. The aroma was light sweet fruity hops. The flavor was lightly sweet and a bit syrupy with light malts and a hint of fruity hops. The finish was short and bland. The mouthfeel was only moderately thick. Rather a disappointment for this style.

Sampled on draft at the Cranberry PA location this beer poured a very dark brown color with a small creamy brown head that lingered forever. The aroma was sweet, roasty malts with a moderate sweet chocolate presence. The flavor was creamy roasty malts with light chocolate followed by a bitter roasty malt punch and a long dryish roasty malt finish. Interesting and complex as the flavors crash over you in waves but a bit drier than I prefer in this style.

Sampled on draft at the Cranberry PA location this beer poured a dark red-caramel color with a small red-khaki head. The aroma was dry and crisp fruity hops. The flavor was bitter, tart and crisp floral and vague fruity hops. The finish was long, bitter and harsh.

Another from Skyview’s growler. Good hop and malt flavor, with very intense hop flavors. Some grapefruit, pine, and fruit. Thick and heavy on the palate. This is an exceptionally full bodied and full flavored apa.

From skyview’s growler. I liked this very much. Some hops in the aroma, but not a lot. There is also brown sugar there. The brown sugar comes out more in the flavor, along with lots of cherry and a clove finish. Good.

On tap at the Cranberry location. Good attractive roasty aroma. Typical odor of many nice stouts and porters. Very nice example of a dark beer. Black with a tan head. Some red tinge visible on the corners. Barely any carbonation is detectable. Almost flat like a dry stout. Stronger than most porters but not quite as strong as I was expecting for a baltic. Hides the 7% very well. Comes across as an enjoyable baltic porter and I usually do not appreciate that style. Bitterness builds on the palate with each sip. Overall, not a bad dark beer. Has more personality than most porters but is not offensive like many baltics. Plays that gray area between the two styles. Mild medium length bitterness on the finish.

On tap at Cranberry as the Panther Pils. Slight fruity aroma. Ubiquitous aamerican pale yellow beer color and appearance. Has that typical pils bite. Very little carbonation. Overall a decent pilsner with a little personality. Finish is relatively clean and fresh with a short pils bite that fades rapidly.

A very clean aroma with very little olfactory impact what so ever. Clear and orangish red in hue. No head or visible carbonation. Barely any carbonation on the palate either. Taste is initially some grassy hints and this morphs into a more bitter bite as the session continues. Has much more bitter bite than I expected for such a low alky beer. I do not taste or smell any chocolate hints as suggested in the description. Finish is quite malt and hop bitter, almost like a stronger APA!

On tap at the Trivia Pub. Ubiquitous color, looks like a pale american lager. Barely any carbonation, just a trace. Very little initial aroma but that builds to a slight floral hop towards the end of the session. Perhaps a little less annoying than many IPAs. Taste is all IPA, bitter medicinal and nearly offensive....and that carries over to the finish, which lingers.

The aroma has oatmeal and light coffee. Flavor has a touch of chocolate, and roasted malt. Black and quite thick, but I didn’t enjoy this as much as everyone else.
