Bottle - Aroma of banana, apricot and mango (give Wacher from Denmark credit for that pick-up - would have taken me hours to figure that out). Orange tan color - cloudy - very pretty. Flavor more middle of the road - carbonation hits first, then light grain and a general sweetness at the end - unfortunately the unique fruit aromas don’t come out much in the taste (I can taste bananas in my mouth after swallowing). This beer is much better in Germany than in the states (would have given it a lower rating in the states).

Bottle - a forward banana aroma for a Kristall. Perfect Kristall appearance - dark yellow and clear. Flavor clean and crisp wheat malt (high carbonation) with only a slight banana flavor. Probably the best one that is widely available.

Golden colour. Huge head. Banana and clove aroma. More banana in the flavour. Slightly sourish. Refreshing but simple.

A dark brown beer with a fine light brown head. The aroma is sharp acidic and the flavor is sweet, slightly roasted and with notes of caramel as well as wheat, but the body is thin.

This is darker than most Hefeweizens that I’ve had. It’s a deep amber; halfway to a Dunkel maybe. Light malt in the aroma and a decent bannana-clove note over the malt. Ceamy with just the right wheat bite in the finish. I imagine this is excellent when consumed fresh in Germany.

A light yellow beer with a small collapsing head white head. The aroma is sweet with sour notes and notes of hops - quite boring. The flavor is sour because of the lack of sugar - I don’t like that. I’m glad I’m not on a diet.

Clean copper color. Strong spicy aroma, fruity (banana), a bit metallic. Some sweetness, spiciness, but again the metallic touch.

Pretty standard aroma: Banana and vanilla mainly. Pours a cloudy orange-amber with a big fluffy head - good looking. Too light in taste and body for a winterbeer - its a pretty ordinary weizen, maybe a tad more spicy than usual. Slight estery aftertaste.

Crystal clear light golden colour with a perfectly dense white head. Aroma of bananas, cloves, wheat and a bit of coriander seed. Medium-bodied; Sweet flavour of bananas, wheat and some light pepper/clove spiceyness. Bubble gum is noticeable in the aftertaste. Overall, a nice 'authentic' kristall, great to try! I sampled this 50 cL bottle from the Brickskellar in Washington, D.C. on 26-December-2003.

Clear copper color, short off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, caramel malts. Taste is sweet malty. Quite typical amber ale. Not quite good.
