Hazy cloudy golden / orange color. Average not too strong smell. Also average taste but very nice mouthfeel. Very good for a spice/herb/vegetable beer, which normally have a too strong smell or taste.

33cl bottle @ a metal shop in Vosselaar with different label that had a viking in a bog with ’beer for metalhead’ description.

Pale golden rather hazy body. Cream white head, which gives a rather nice lacing. Aroma of orange, sweet honey and an herb (guess we found the bog myrtle). Some peach juice and unripe chilli pepper. Slightly sour nose. Flavour is sweet spicy, with a slight hoppy accent. Pronounced malts. Again the bog myrtle comes through nicely, giving an interesting and fresh touch. Sticky mouthfeel. Long finish, reminds of heather honey. Nice and interesting. (from 33cL bottle)

Bottled. Slightly cloudy, strong blonde beer, seems quite a bit like a spiced up tripel. Fruity aroma, crisp taste. A bit of fruity sweetness, but not too much, leading to a good, dry finish. Good hop taste, plus herbal flavors from the myrtle, but not really bitter. Interesting, though one is enough.

330 from Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa, CA. Pours dishwater gold with a foamy 3.5 finger white head. Aroma: bog myrtle. Been there before. Wouldn’t have known the name without help, but the aroma is familiar. A Bon Secours I think. Medium body with lightly foamy carbonation. The flavor is like weird blueberry with wood. Odd flavor aside it’s pretty drinkable. Much better than the other version I had. It’s a bit sweet and gingery, but that’s good considering the base flavor. You should try it. If you go back for more, you may be weird.
