The brewery was and is in the factory buildings behind it. The brewery became after WWI. rebuilt partly with recycled material. Bottle, 8%. Not much aroma. Hazy dark brown colour. Small tan head. The flavour is quite powerful. Good maltiness with a hint of yeast. Vinous with dried fruit. The finish goes more towards a roasted note. Good creamy, warming finish and good balance between malt and alcohol.

Bottled. Deep ambery brown colour with big beige fluffy head. Aroma is mildly roasted malts with caramel and slightly sour citrus fruit in it. Some weak metallic notes can also be found as the beer warms up a bit. Flavour is raisins, swett malty along with some mild notes of chocolate and licorice. Also quite fruity notes. Alcohol shows in the form of a nice burning touch. Aftertaste is mainly licorice and bigtime malts.

(Bottle 25 cl) Pours a slightly hazy golden with a tall and lively, white head. Slightly vinous aroma with some overripe fruit. Light body with some fruitiness - overripe - and then this somewhat oxidized, sherry-like touch. Very subdued bitterness. Clearly age has some impact here, but I kinda think it has aged pretty gracefully considering the low ABV. 171207
