Tap at Craft Sukhumvit, Bangkok. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber with a thin white head and some long lasting clingy lace. The aroma is woody hop, citrus, light medicinal. The flavour is moderate bitter with a big resin hop, fruity palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle. Pale amber with a white head. Aroma of mandarins, sherbet, some bread crust, watermelon, musk sticks. Light bodied, refreshing. Fruity with tropical fruit (didn’t smell all that tropical but it builds), lollies, very light bread. Bitterness is fairly low but it’s dry enough at the end that it works. Doesn’t strike me as particularly martial.

Tap at Evening Star, Brighton. Dark hazy amber color, good creamy off-white head. Riped tropical fruits and alcohol in the nose. Medium-bodied. Riped pineapple, peach and then citrus. Hop oily. Sweetish aftertaste. Quite heavy, even glueish.

Sampled draft @ Tilburgs Bierfestival 2016. Hazy orange, only a few bubbles, looks a bit flat. Very oily hop oil nose, bathroom esoteric oil & perfume, caramel, sugar. Taste is weird tea & hop oil, tea, bland oily with sugar,.. Flat hop oil & bit too big sugar. Not really into it.

Bottle. Clear gold with a white head. Aroma of hay, light bread, cut grass, mandarins, some tropical fruit I can’t quite pick, gentle spices. Light bodied. Carbonation is excessive. Fairly plain and light bready malt with just a touch of biscuit. Tropical/ citrus/ grassy Kiwi hops, fairly high bitterness. Solid NZ pale.

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Piney and fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of pineapple, gooseberry, kiwi fruit, white grapes, mellow caramel malty background. Taste is dry, crisp bitter hoppy, fruity, notes of gooseberry, kiwi fruit, white grapes, subtly sweet, caramel malty background. Crisp and clean, excellent exposition of the Nelson Sauvin flavours.

100th APA rating. Bottle. Golden color with white head. Aroma is hoppy, resinous, malty, not so much exotic fruits as expected. Taste is resinous, fruity, pineapples, toasted malts, bittersweet finish. This is probably not the freshest, but still okay. Quite intense for the ABV. I imagine this was an absolute beauty before starting its long way to Europe.
