500ml bottle. Hazy, amber colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, mostly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Tropical and citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of mango and passion fruit, hints of pineapple, grapefruit, some yellow apple, a touch of banana, a sweaty, resinous touch as well. Taste is slightly bitter, citrusy and tropical fruity hoppy, slightly sugary caramel malty, notes of passion fruit, lemon, grapefruit, some mango, yellow apple. Fresh and refreshing - very good.

Tap at Grub. Pretty English feel to it, light maltiness, minerals, bit of pineapple, toffee, touch of spice. Some kind of real ale yeastiness. Nice to start off but then fades a little.

Tap at the Roundhouse. Very twiggy, light and peach tropical fruitiness, but twigs overwhelm it a bit. Like the hop but the malt doesn't do it for me

Bottle from Aeon. Nice aroma, grassy hops, hint of lemon. Taste is good, crisp and pretty bitter. Little bit of malty sweetness in there, but focus is the hops. Good stuff. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Mot Eureka on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:05 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 9 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8. Bottle. Clear orangish amber with a large white head. 3+ Aroma of kumquats, crusty bread, passionfruit, tinned peaches. 7+ Little malt presence but sweet so the fruit all seems like lollies. Modest bitterness creeps up a little after a time.

Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from Offie and Toffee a while back, I think. Vintage 2015? Pours clear, deep gold with a modest, foamy off-white head. Definitely has some spicy notes to it, flowers, yeast, white pepper, wheat bread, orange peel. Light bodied with lively, massaging carbonation. Finishes with more lightly zesty citrus peel, lime, wheat flakes, low bitterness, a little bread, touches of spicy ginger. Interesting as a novelty.

(Bottle) Amber colour, slightly hazy, with frothy off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with orange peel, pineapple, mango, passion-fruit, honey and a touch of resin. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of orange peel, bread, apricot marmalade, toast, passion-fruit, gooseberries, caramel and a generous citric, resiny bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well made pale ale, with a good hop presence. Very nice.
