Keg, half-pint in Latitude 48, Barnstable on Saturday 20th January 2024. Clean old gold body, white crown, hoppy front on a solid malty base, liked the hops, earthy, piney and bitter.

440ml can as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Light gold and hazy with a very thin uneven white head and loads of lacing. Lemon cream, pink grapefruit and vanilla on the nose. Tastes fairly sweet with good rounded bitterness closer to the finish. Thick body for the ABV with some light carbonation. Good.

440ml can drunk at home as part of a delivery from the brewery. It pours a pinkish purple, not quite clearing with a small pinkish/white head and good lacing. The cherry and tonka bean are most prominent in the aroma, but there’s definitely some berry behind it along with hints of vanilla. Taste is sweet/sour and also led by tonka and cherry. A nice balanced tartness near the finish, with sweetish umami of tonka lingering in the aftertaste. Light to medium body with carbonation on the heavy side. on the heavy side. No surprises with this one, but that doesn’t make it any less lovely.

440ml can bought in a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Light yellow gold, almost getting toward a Chardonnay hue. Small ring of white head and a tiny bit of lacing. I’m getting white grape, grapefruit, some light sulphurous tones surprisingly. Bittersweet taste with doesn’t sweeten, with bitterness increasing through to the dry finish. Light lemon drop on the finish. Strange beast, this, but I did enjoy the way it defied my preconceptions.

440ml can bought as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Golden brown and clear with the thinnest possible off-white head. Strong marmalade aroma, little bit of iced tea, floral notes, berries, light malt. Bittersweet taste with an emphasis on the sweet, a Though bitterness does pool in the centre of the tongue for the finish.more malt presence in the biscuity aftertaste, but the citrus/marmalade character never leaves. Tones of a ‘supermarket IPA’ here, but a reasonably good one.

440ml can bought from the brewery and drunk at home. Mid-gold, clear with a ring of white head. Smells of honey, grainy malt, agave syrup. Sweet taste, some gummy malt, slight vegetal notes, a little bitter hop in the finish. Medium body, low carbonation. It's reasonable if dull, typical of the style.

440ml can bought as part of a delivery from the brewery. Mid-gold, clear, little to no head. Gentle aroma of lemon balm, light grassy character. Only very slightly sour, some sweetish grainy notes peeking out over the lemon. Light, watery body, only a bit of carbonation. Goodness, there’s nowt wrong with it but there isn’t really all that much to it at all.

440ml can as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Light to mid- gold, clear as a bell. Some uneven loose white head. Bright hoppy aroma, a little metallic but I am also getting juicy soft citrus. Sweet taste, fruity hop and maybe a smidgen of mint. Some bitterness in the finish. Light body which is carbonated to hell and back. It's not very original maybe but it's a fine SIPA.
