Bottle from Denbies Farm Shop, Dorking. Aroma of rich honey with vinous streak and a touch of veg. Amber. No head. Very sweet immediate impact. Vinous tinged sourness then comes through. As does a boozy warmth and a vague bitterness into the finish. But the sweetness is consistent. Light-medium bodied. Oily. Sticky. Average carbonation. Long warm slightly astringent finish. I was thinking of hitting the sack but this had really perked me up.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 22/12/20. Clear golden with nothing in the way of a head. Nose is honey, light berry fruits, honeydew melon, Taste comprises Blackcurrant Lockets, honey melt, sweet tones but kept well in check. Full bodied, moderate carbonation leading to a slick mouthfeel balanced with a rising kiss of alcohol. Decent approachable Mead if not overly complex in terms of flavour profile.
