Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Beautiful Beers. Pours clear, deep brown with a tight, creamy beige head. Light-medium sweet flavour with notes of dark berries, a little cocoa and roast, raisins, very mild acidity, slight earthy bitterness. Light bodied with fine, massging carbonation. Finishes with just a hint of burnt rubber, more earthy, tangy dark fruits, berries. Interesting and drinkable stuff.

330ml bottle bought at Beautiful Beers. Shared with Finn, Travelodge session. A pearl white head to a hazy orange coloured body, lacing rings down the glass. Moderate smell of farmyard and saison fruit. The taste character brings moments of yeasty fruitiness, ripe lemon, and grain. Ends with a farmyard, yeasty touch. Accepted. (Hotel room, Cambridge 14.11.2021).

330ml bottle, gyle no. 63, bought at Beautiful Beers. Shared with Finn, Travelodge session. Firm fawn-coloured head resting over a deep black body, spotty lacing. Prominent brown malty aroma, hints of ripe fruit. Mixed taste profile of pine needles, caramel malts, together with Voss kveik yeast. Has got a malt-fruity finish, slightly tart. Satisfying. (Hotel room, Cambridge 14.11.2021).

330ml bottle bought at Beautiful Beers. Shared with Finn, Travelodge session. Decent beige head over a deep dark brown body, fair lacing. Smell of nutshell and toffee. Quite well blended taste of nutty caramel and biscuit. Rater sweet ending, nuts and caramel. Fine depth. Satisfying (Hotel room, Cambridge 14.11.2021).

330ml bottle bought at Beautiful Beers, shared with Finn, Travelodge session. Near black body, dotted spots on the glass, naked at the top. Distant smell of sour malts. Malt-berry tartness to the taste buds. Ends like that. Drain pour, and not my kind of good beer drinking. (Hotel room, Cambridge 14.11.2021).

330ml bottle as part of a delivery from Beautiful Beers and drunk at home. Reddish chocolate brown with a ring of beige/khaki head. Delicious smell of chocolate brownies with a sickly medicinal joke creeping in. Sweet taste is almost immediately ruined by something sour and a bit vomits. Long medicinal and unpleasant finish. Not sure this is right, especially reading the other rates. There's a good beer in here somewhere but I'm not finding it tonight.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Cambridge Wines. Pours mostly clear, rich gold with a frothy, white head. Lightly sweet with notes of pale bread, sun-kissed grains, mellow leafy bitterness, biscuits, a little English yeast, grass. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Simple dry pale bread to finish, light grass. Enjoyable.
