Cask (handpump) @ The Bree Louise, 69 Coburg Street, Euston, London, England NW1 2HH.Clear medium to dark amber colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, fruity, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20101231]

Cask at the Grape and Grain, Crystal Palace. Clear amber pour with a white head. Peach. orange peel and mango infused nose. Quite a fruity aroma. Citrus tang with plenty of fruity hop flavours. Classic session ale.

Cask at the Joiners Arms, Croydon. It pours clear amber, with a thin foamy head and soft carbonation. The nose is caramel, hay, grass and bread. The taste is wood, grass, hay, cherry, caramel and chalk, with an astringent woody finish. An okish bitter that is not particularly bitter.

Bottled@Monks Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Rubyish brown colour with a mediumsized foamy beige head. Aroma is a bunch of sweet maltyness, some wood, mild fruits and berries as well as some nice alcoholic sweetness. Flavour is wood, sweet malts, alcohol, some berries and mildly spicy, raisiny and plummy notes. Mild toasted notes towards the finish.

Cask at Red Lion, Cromer, Norfolk. A dark brown coloured pour with a small white head on top. Malty, roasty aroma. Tastes malty, dark fruit. An OK old ale but nothing special in my opinion.

Bottle. Sweet chocolate malt and light hay aroma. Dark brown color with no head. Sweet smoky chocolate malt and moderately bitter herbal hops. Body a bit light. An easy drinking Old Ale - unusual but nice.

Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, moderate hoppy, citrus, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. (Bottle, 0.5 l - courtesy of rosenbergh) The beer poured reddish orange and cloudy. Its head was small. Cramell, malts yeast, and tangerine in the aroma. Palate was quite light bodied and dry with low carbonation. Taste contained hops, malts, caramell, mild acridness, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. This beer was quite dull.
