Description
When good friends Ray Ashworth and David Crease got tired of the same old beers, they were determined to change things up a level. With a passion for homebrewing and creating authentic flavours, they became part of a new-wave revolution, handcrafting their own beers in the 1960s.

In 1981 they founded their own brewery near Norwich and moved to a converted farm complex in the picturesque Broadland village of Woodbastwick in 1989

Bottle 50cl. @ home.Clear light to medium amber orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, fruity, excotic fruits - tangerine - madarin, plum. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, a light alcohol - peppery burn and a long finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. The beer is nice but it gets quick tomuch.. (190808)
