Third by cask, second day of GBBF Winter 20, Elgar Bar. Shared with Finn. Near black in the glass, filmy layer, dotted spots down the glass. Promising smell of dark malts with oatmeal. Similar taste profile of oatmeal, joined by chocolate malts and a backdrop of dark fruits. lightly roasted. Pretty alright. (Birmingham 05.02.2020).

8/2/2020. From cask at the Great British Winter Beer Festival, Birmingham. Pours almost black with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, roasted malt, toffee and dark fruit. Medium sweetness and moderate roasted bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Touch of coconut to finish. Pretty good beer.

Cask @ GBBF, Birmingham. Small head with short duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, hops, caramel and has a nice hoppy finish.

13/7/2019. Cask at The Bell, Launceston. Pours pale amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of fruit, hops, malt, caramel and a hint of berries. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with light tart edge. Moderate body, oily texture, average carbonation. Ok.

Cask at the 28th Ealing Beer Festival. Pours hazy golden amber with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of hop, light tropical fruit, malt and citrus. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation.
