Bottle from Taste of Northumbria. Pours clear golden with a thick white head. Aromas of pine and resin. Taste has a citrus bitterness and faint malt. Bitter finish. Decent.

Bottle from an Amble grocer. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of resin and pine. Light citrus. Taste is light sweet caramel, piney bitterness. Abrupt finish.

Bottle sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Amber colour, thin white bubbly head and aroma of rosemary. Taste is malty earthy, with herby spiced bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy medicinal bitter finish. Quite OK

6/9/2019. Bottle from CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours hazy golden orange with an average sized off-white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, hops, malt, caramel and a light spiced edge. Medium sweetness with moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Decent brew.

Moderate sweetness and light bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Not something I'd normally like, but I did quite like this.
