Many thanks to Graham for this discovery. Bon imperial Stout.

Cask at the Blue Boar, Leicester as Belgian Dubbel Blueberry, 9%. Bluish brown and cloudy with no head. Its got those brown sugary malty Dubbel notes with a strong berry aroma. Sweet/sour taste with berry skin tartness. The beer may have been on for a while bit it's still decent. Balanced finish. Oily body, zero carbonation. It's pretty good actually.

Keg at Brewis Taproom, Amble. Pours surprisingly light amber with a thin white head. Aromas of higher alcohol, spice and light sour. Taste is candi sugar up front, spice and a boozy almond burn. Sugared almonds, basically. Some Belgian character but misses the dark stone fruit or raisin notes of a dubbel for me.
