Hazy, opaque yellow color and a white head. Tropical nose, mango and pineapple. Taste starts rather bitterfruity, overripe fruits and a nice hoppy bill. --- Beer merged from original tick of Studio Océanique on 29 May 2023 at 23:40 - Score: 8. Juste correcte. O:7.49 V:3.3 G:7.91 C:4.0 G:14.7 T:37.4

Can: Poured a cloudy/hazy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops undertones with some mango notes is quite nice. Taste is a nice mix of citrusy hops undertones with some mango and residual sugar notes. Body is full with good carbonation. Well brewed NEIPA thought residual sugar notes could be better integrated with the rest of the flavors.

O: 8.4 V: 5.0 G: 8.85 B: 2.5 O: 17.35 T: 42.1

(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours fairly hazy deep gold with a decent white head and lace. Notes of heavily floral tropical fruit with some grassy, oniony overtones, fair amount of melon, mix of orange and stone fruit backing, touches of coconut and herbal savoury character, soft cereal malts. Softly sweet up front finishing dry with green oniony hop burn and a little bitterness. Light to medium bodied, soft creamy carbonation. Did not love this hop profile, where Citra was definitely in the background and the leading hops were not my favourite. Decent but the first version was superior.

(473ml Lot 001 can - Sabro, Galaxy, Citra - from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours fairly hazy deep gold with a decent white head that fades slowly with lace. Aroma of dried mango, grapefruit, kiwi, floral tropical fruit, overripe peach, some bready malt, light resinous touches. Flavour is off-dry with a light bread/cereal character to the malt, grapefruit and kiwi prominent, some of the floral elements of passionfruit, light lychee, soft creamy coconut, light grassy bitterness and some grapefruit peels in the very dry finish, rather mineral and crisp, no hop burn. Light to medium body, average carbonation. Nice first canned brew from a talented homebrewer!
