A lightly hazed amber ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet biscuit malt with resinous herbaceous hops, light mineral notes, OK. In mouth, sweet biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice. On tap at LCBO Lansdowne.

Growler from Mill Street Brewery, Ottawa. Cloudy mahgay colour, small head. Milky nose with some red wine. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Red berries, butter and light oaky tartness. Low bitterness. Pretty decent, but lacks complexity and need more of that oaky tartness.

Pours a hazy amber colour with a small off-white head and minimal lacing. Nutty malts with caramel notes and raspberry hints. The raspberry is noticeable in the flavours as well but with nutty yeast that is found in Sparkling wines. Some caramel malts also, and hops. Not seeing the bubbly carbonation, but the other notes. Not bad, but a little too rich overall.

16oz can c/o Rob and Karen. Filtered yellow-tan body. Thin white head. Smooth, clean, simple malt bill. Has some cream ale tendencies. A hint of butter, but acceptable. English influenced Canadian stuff, mellow and drinkable.

Keg at Mill Street, Ottawa. Hazy mahogany colour, creamy head. Aroma of prunes and chipotle. Mid sweet with medium-full body and dense, rounded mouthfeel. Toffee, marzipan, raisins and smoked chili. Warming finish with low bitterness and very mild chili heat. Interesting.

This IPA poured a medium yellow colour with a bright white head. Scents include bread, hops and city water? First swig was really smooth and creamy. Flavours of citrus hops and smooth sweet malts most prominent. Finish is malty with a nice hop balance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
