Draft - Estery yeast, banana and sweetness, clearish gold with a rich white head. Sweet and very estery with banana, citrus and some bubblegum. A yeasty, creamy mess really.

Draft - Dark currant and pale malts. Pinkish red with a rich pink head. Light cassis and not much else. Very light and true to the fruit, but sometimes that is not enough. Maybe some acidity would have helped?

Look, I’ll be up front. I’ve been disappointed with Mill Street for a while. There seasonal have been disappointing in the last couple of years. I used to really enjoy their brews, I can still enjoy a Tankhouse, but... I saw this fancy bottle (swingtop with wax, ooh la la) and thought I’d try. And well, it’s alright. Nose is caramel malt, a little molasses, and a touch of booze. The taste is heavy on the malt, caramel, toasty, very nice, a little sweet. Mild spice, very rich mouth feel. But, well, that’s it. Kinda a letdown from the très chic bottle, and the price.

Brun farge med lavt hvitt skum. Lukter av citrus og litt mettalisk. Smaker av sitron og ikke så veldig høyt karbonert. Derfor noe tam. Noe biitter avslutning.

Can from LCBO. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. No lacing. Aroma of melon, cigarette butts and orange. Flavour of tangy orange and a pithy bitter finish. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. Quite sharp and tangy - not great.
