Draft: Poured a clear brown color dunkel with a nice light brown foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt with light chocolate flavours is quite enjoyable. Taste is a nice mix of light chocolate notes with some caramelized malt with a sweet finish. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Not bad and pretty close to style guideline.

Draft: Poured a hazy light yellow color ale with a medium foamy had with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of light dry wheat malt with some notes of Chardonnay. Taste is also a mix of dry wheat malt with light dry Chardonnay notes. Body is full with medium carbonation. Not bad thought it is lacking some complexity.

Draft: Poured a clear light copper color ale with a small foamy head with limited retention and no lacing. Aroma of light grainy cereal notes is OK. Taste is also dominated by grainy cereal notes with light dry hops notes and a watery thin finish. Body is light with OK carbonation. I didn’t think the malt bill was really that great and finish is too watery even for style.

Draft: Poured a hazy yellow color ale with a small foamy head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of light grainy notes with some citrusy hops notes. Taste is also a mix of grainy malt with some citrusy hops and light bitter aftertaste. Body is a bit light with good carbonation with light thin finish. Somewhat short of hops and finish is too watery and thin for my liking.

Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a decent warm cap, retention and lacing. Fresh grassy hop and citrus aromas just like a session IPA should be. The taste is a little different. It does have the nice hops with citrus zest notes and good grain malt in the finish, but it also has some green harbal sharp bite with some what seems like hints of smoke (I guess peaty). Other than that, quite good once you get use to this.

Tap at Mill St in YYZ. Opaque goldenrod pour with puffy white head. Aroma is pronounced tropical fruit hops - mango and citrus. Nice. Taste follows but not as pronounced. Very smooth palate in a mixed sort of way. More citrus bitterness in the taste. Not bad at all.

This lager poured a cloudy Amber colour with a big, creamy off white head. Scents include lemony hops, vanilla Andes nice malts. First swig was quite nice with flavours of tea, citrus and malt. Finish is malty and lightly sweet. Light tea flavours lingering on the palate...

Pours a clear amber colour with a warm cap, decent retention and some light foamy lace. Fruity aromas with mostly apples, and some hints of caramel and roasted malts. Grainy cereal malts with some mild fruity notes and light caramel in the background. The hops are very low, but blend well with some roasted grain. A decent, easy-drinking amber ale.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber colour with a beige head and minimal lacing. Smokey malt aromas. Flavours of smokey malts with some light sweetness, wood and cereal grain that lingers. Not a bad grainy smoked beer. Good intro to the Rauchbier style.
