Aromas of lemon, orange, apricot, pear, apple, light banana/bubblegum, pepper, clove, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, bready malt, and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, orange, apricot, pear, apple, light banana/bubblegum, pepper, clove, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Moderate amount of earthy yeast spiciness and light herbal bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange, apricot, pear, apple, light banana/bubblegum, pepper, clove, wheat, biscuit, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness, complexity, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, bready malt, and light earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from yeast spiciness as well. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, fairly creamy/bready, and lightly crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good Belgian tripel style. All around good robustness, complexity, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, bready malt, and light earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Wax over flip-top 750ml bottle from the LCBO. Tag with a string, written 29 SEP 2015. Pours a clean deep amber colour with a light-beige head, good retention and some streaky creamy lacing. Big grassy nose over caramel malts. Even some hints of vanilla at one point, so does get better as it breathes. Same for the taste. Not liking the hoppy taste at first, but does get better. Seems not well-blended at first. Notes of oranges with the grass. I do like the Tankhouse, but this one is not for me. Not a fan of the hops and their balance in this.

A little better than the lemon tea beer I just had but we’re not talking much better. Pours orange with ok head. Some grain aroma here, and virtually no trace of the hops advertised in deScription. Tap at airport brewpub.

On tap at St Augustine's, pours a hazy copper with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of dry hopping with a dry biscuity malt backing. Flavour certainly brings out the cascade hopping, with lots of dry hoppiness, a touch of pine, a touch o resin, and a caramel biscuity malt backbone. Well-balanced, with just enough sweetness to back the dry hoppiness. Very solid IPA.

On tap at St Augustine's, pours a clear dark orange with a small beige head. Nose brings out lots of pumpkin spices, especially cinnamon. Flavour is massively spicy, with loads of cinnamon upfront, followed by nutmeg and pumpkin pur�e. Pretty standard pumpkin ale, with a light body and not a whole lot going on. Meh.

440ml can. Pours a clear, dark brown with a reddish hue and a large, creamy, long lasting, tan, nitro head that laces. Sweet aroma of vanilla cream coffee and caramel. Sweet vanilla flavour with roasted malt, caramel and dark chocolate with a light bitter, coffee finish. Light body with a smooth, creamy texture and soft, almost flat carbonation.

Soft cane sugar aroma and small head on a clear copper body. Kind of a candyish nut flavour and dry finish. Not bad at all.

Taste of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, vanilla, brown sugar, caramel, wheat, gingerbread, light chocolate, and herbal/toasted earthiness. Minimal herbal/spice bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, vanilla, caramel, brown sugar, gingerbread, and herbal/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice robustness, complexity, and balance of pumpkin, spices, and dark/bready malt flavors; with no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, fairly creamy/bready, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish as expected of 5%. Overall this is a very nice session pumpkin wheat ale style. All around good robustness, complexity, and balance of pumpkin, spices, and dark/bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Growler from the Ottawa brewpub. Pours a clean amber colour, almost hazy with an off-white head. Maple notes over the caramel malts and mild hops. Still pretty much the same for the taste, but some nutty hints lingering. Not as much maple in the taste though. With time, farm notes come out in the smell. Not sure what is different from the Spring Thaw, but drinkable. Gets a little sweet.
