From the cask at the brewery. Big tobacco aroma with a bolder hop bitterness than from the keg (tried both). Complex English-style amber and caramel malts, with good hop bitterness, also from English style hops (fuggles?). Good hoppy finish. Very nice.

On tap at the brewpub. Thin, pale, yellow color. Rich cereal malt aroma: clean and biscuity with hops. Light, sweetish, fruity flavor, with lots of cereal and biscuit taste. Clean and crisp, well-balanced and refreshing. Lighter than I wold like, but a good summer beer.

On tap at the brewpub. Light gold color with almost no head. Faint citrus hop aroma; light and fruity. Amazingly fruity, with cherry and muscat. Sweet, thin, and light. Too fruity. Almost like a soda pop. Not very impressive.

On tap at the Brewpub. Good amber color with lacing. Fruity, hoppy aroma, seems like cascade taking the lead. Flavor of darkish malts, caramel. Big and well-balanced with a bitter hoppy finish. Hop-driven and well-done.

On tap at the Brewpub. Cloudy, deep yellow with a thin but persistent head. Rich wheat malt aroma, with orange, spices, banana, strong citrus notes. Thick, rich wheat flavor, somewhat like a big hefeweizen, but spiced like a Belgian wit. Very cake-like. Huge bananas. Thick but spritzy-clean palate. Very nice, merging the Bavarian and Belgian styles to some extent.

Amber-red colour. Some caramel nose. Some breadcrust malts and herbal hops on the palate. Earthy, caramelly taste. Well-balanced with a slight herbal hop note. Earthy finish. Nice bitter.

Amber-brown colour. Cereal, toffee, light peat and light fruit on the nose. Slghtly chewy, peaty and chocolatey palate with toffee and brown sugar accents. It’s a little bit watery in the finish, but also a little bit dry, which makes it more drinable but is slightly incongruous with the malty richness.

Reddish-orange colour w/ a thick head. Deep raspberry syrup aroma. Somewhat lifeless on the palate, with raspberry syrup versus crackerlike malts. Probably too much hop dryness in the finish. Not objectionable, but certainly sub-par.

Pale opaque yellow. Lemony, peachy, orangey aroma with light spice and some wheatiness. Assertive citrus, quite tart and wheaty. Subtle coriander at the back, and fairly dry.
