Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007. A light golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is sweet, but also with a light skunky note - is it the clear bottle or the hops? THe flavor is sweet malty combined with notes of straw, but also hints of skunkyness.

Terracotta-like bottle, 500 ml, 2007, purchased at the LCBO, savoured on April 30 2008; eye: orangey caramel, hazy, light effervescence, white head that falls rapidly but leaves a carpet on the beer, lacing; nose: orange, citrusy hops, caramelized malt; mouth: bitter hops, lots of caramel that arrives just as a second wave of bitter hops arrives, caramelized malt then leaves its place to the hops, orange, alcohol is there though difficult to perceive but its warmth is sure present, finale in bitter hops with a good presence of malt, creamy texture, rather bitter, mildly sweet, full body, sticky texture, average carbonation, light astringency; overall: quite likable FRANÇAIS Bouteille à effet terre cuite, 500 ml, 2007, achetée à la LCBO, savourée le 30 avril 2008; œil : caramel orangée, voilée, légère effervescence, mousse blanche qui tombe rapidement mais laisse un petit tapis sur la bière, dentelle; nez : orange, houblon citrique, malt caramélisé; bouche : houblon amérisant, beaucoup de caramel qui arrive juste au moment où une deuxième vague de houblon viendrait frapper, malt caramélisé cède le pas à tout ce houblon, orange, même si on perçoit à peine l’alcool on sent sa chaleur, finale en houblon amérisant avec une bonne présence de malt, texture crémeuse, plutôt amère, moyennement sucrée, corsée, texture collante, carbonatation moyenne, légère astringence; en résumé : bien aimé

222ml bottle; doesn’t Corona come in bottles like these? Nose of grain and light grassiness; yellow with a medium white head; flavor has light, lemony hop bitterness along with the grainy malt; better than i expected of a plae lager; actual hops!

Bottle at HogTownHarry Fest 08. Chestnut colour with lychee and dusty hop aroma. Thin bubbly beige head. Pretty nice, good grapefruit, lychee. Good malts. Caramel nuts. Duff says "it’s a bit like a Snickers bar." Pretty good. I liked it. Really sessionable beer.

Bottle, 5.5%. Roasted and bitter coffee aroma. Very dark brown colour with a red shine. Small brown head. The flavour has some coffee and a hint of sour cardboard. Late bitterness, like coffee and chocolate.

Thanks Mabel for sharing! Poured an inky dark black, near opaque with a nicely thick nearly brown head. Aroma was rich with a chocolatey sweet coffee. Hint of roast in the background. This is one of the better smelling coffee beers I’ve tried. Medium chocolate and roast flavors, medium to light body, with a distinct coffee flavor that leads into a cold coffee bitterness in the finish. Like many coffee beers, it lacks a certain depth and fullness. Medium to semi-dry finish.
