Intensiver malziger Beginn. Schokolade, dunkles Getreide, spritzig, vollmundig. Der Alkohol ist erkennbar, stört aber nicht, wärmend. Würzig, zum Ende etwas trocken, weiterhin schokoladig. Gut! 10/11/11/12/8/11

Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a stem glass. Modest gusher. Cloudy brown colour, some sediments, fair creamy tan head, mostly diminishing, thin layer remains, light lacing. Aroma roasted and sweet malts, caramel, liquorice, dark fruits, bay leaf. Taste light light heavy sweet and slightly bitter, malty, roast, caramel, liquorice, brown sugar, bay leaf. Above medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, smooth sweet and slightly bitter aftertaste, sugary, alcohol notes, maybe a tad too sweet, nice.

Thuis uit een flesje, gekocht op Texel. Amberkleur, weinig schuim. Zwak aroma. Smaak licht kruidig, lichtzoet. Geen bijzondere tripel.

Flesje gedeeld in de tuin met Huub. Amberkleurig, ietwat muf aroma. In de smaak wat gember. Redelijk, maar geen favoriet.

Can 33cl. bottle with Joost @his place & poured into a teku glass, thanks friend! Hazy medium amber colour, small frothy off-white head, slowly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma sweet malt, caramel, cranberries, apricot. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, apricot, candy sugar, herbal touch. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, fruity sweetbitter aftertaste, herbal notes, overall a decent brew.

In de tuin uit een flesje, gekocht bij De Bonte Belevenis op Texel. Amber met wit schuim, redelijk wat koolzuur. Aroma gist, volle smaak, lichtzoet. Smaakt steviger dan je zou vermoeden bij 4,5%.

Hazy brown with a thin off-white head. Malty caramel aroma with some red fruits. Sweet taste with a sweet caramel finish. Again very flat and shoddy.

Murky golden with a very thin white head. Malty aroma with some cooked cabbage. Sweet aroma with a low bitter finish. Sub par undercarbonated tripel.
