In de tuin uit een flesje, gekocht bij De Bonte Belevenis op Texel. Amber met wit schuim, redelijk wat koolzuur. Aroma gist, volle smaak, lichtzoet. Smaakt steviger dan je zou vermoeden bij 4,5%.

33 cl. bottle shared with Rick @ Rick, bought @ Jumbo, Texel
Hazy brown with a thin off-white head. Malty caramel aroma with some red fruits. Sweet taste with a sweet caramel finish. Again very flat and shoddy.

Hazy golden with a very thin white head. Grainy aroma with some ginger in the nose. Sweet taste with a sweet finish. Undercarbonated and boring.
THT. Dark brown with offwhite head. Sweet, roasted, alcohol. Very boozy.

@home poured into a shaker. Clear ruby brown, tall creamy tan head, good retention, light lacing. Aroma roasted malt, cocoa, coffee, caramel, liquorice. Smooth taste, medium sweet and bitter, malty, chocolate, light coffee groundings, liquorice root, brown sugar. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, lingering malty sweetbitter aftertaste, brown sugar, liquorice, well-made, indeed a classic porter, really good.

@home poured into a shaker. Hazy medium amber colour, small frothy off-white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma medium sweet and bitter, sweet malt, caramel, hint of honey. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, caramel, brown sugar, underlying lingering roastiness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, malty sweetbitter aftertaste, caramel notes, tasty, well-crafted strong blond ale, not a tripel, nice effort.

Clear pale amber with short living head. Dry grains, light fruity touch, quite some anise seed or equivalent spices. Light sweet and decent bitterness. Medium body and a bit low on carbonation.

Clear golden with white head. Sweet malts, dry malts, bready, grainy, straw, bitter, earthy, leathery, corn, tea wryness, hint of strawberries, light sourness. Medium body and light carbonation. It’s drinkable, but that doesn’t mean I’ll finish it.
