A golden ale with a very thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity mix of tart limes and fruit, light citrus pulp, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity mix of berries and lime, Epsom salts, very nice. Can at Mondiale 2025 m

Hazy yellow, large head. Cracker malts, very green hops, smells like freshly picked hop cones. Mouth feel is creamy, finish is low to medium bitter, pale cereals, a touch musty, hops taste like bad home brew. Overly resinous, bitter citrus zest.

Agrumes aux allures de pamplemousse, conifères et pointe d’alcool au nez avec une présence maltée sous forme de biscuitée. Liquide doré presque limpide avec un col de mousse rocailleux de taille moyenne et assez persistant. Entrée de bouche subtilement fruitée avec présence tropicale ainsi que de petits fruits rouges. L’amertume résineuse et terreuse se compose de conifères et présente une légère astringence. Les houblons sont assez dominants ne laissant que peu de place à la base maltée. Très acceptable. A hazed reddish copper barley wine with a very thin off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with vinous notes, alcohol warmth, fruity esters, woody notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice, caramel malt with alcohol warmth, light woody whiskey notes, light vinous character, very nice. Cask at brewery.

Le nez est bien fumé et boisé sur une base légèrement caramélisée et relevant également des notes de cerises. De couleur cuivré foncé presque brune, elle est partiellement voilée et offre une petite mousse effervescente et fuyante. L’entrée de bouche se veut bien maltée et sucrée avant que les notes de fumé se développent tout en demeurant assez douces. Caramel et cerises sont les dominantes maltées. Les houblons sont épicés et floraux, maintenant un bel équilibre avec le fumé. Le corps et la carbonatation sont dans la moyenne. Moi qui avais en horreur les bières fumées, je dois admettre que celle-ci me réconcilie avec le style. Douce, équilibrée, complexe et harmonieuse. O:8.575 V:1.843 G:8.432 C:4.475 G:14.636 T:38.261
