Can (9/8/21) pour. It's a lightly hazy pale yellow-light brown with trace sparkle, finger-width off-white head with poor retention and light lacing. Aroma is mix of pine, citrus, generic fruit and light malt. Taste is strong mix of orange and pineapple rind, grainy backbone. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, decent complexity but malt/grain quality outshines the hops.

Canned 10/14/21, drunk 11/3/21. Hazy, drab brass-bronze with a small, white head that slowly fades to cover/ring. Smells very mild/understated of peach, papaya, mango, pine and lemon peel. Malts seem nicely attenuated and out of the way adding light dough/cracker and hints of honey. There's a touch of alcohol, but no hop twang. And again, super mild, understated in the mouth/flavor. Soft and dry with a pretty well-developed malt structure. Pine, lemon, papaya, pineapple. I think the black tea and earth/mineral of I7 really shows through here and the El Dorado contributes the pine and bitterness/edge while the Sabro just adds weird pineapple. Kind of hate two of these hops quite a bit (Sabro and El Dorado). Still, they've done well given that. Could definitely use a bit more levity/juice/softness but it's well-brewed and that's the important thing and thus I will try some more of their beers.

16 oz. can. Aroma has orange and grapefruit peel. Flavor is a variety of citrus with supporting malt. I don’t really taste the lactose anywhere. Perhaps it gives it a lightly smooth texture. Even after the can has sat awhile, still good.

16 oz. can dated 06-01-21. Aroma is weak fruit with soft pine and a bloder malt presence. The flavor has the pine with mild grapefruit upfront. Elevated malt character I assume is attributed to the age of the can. That said, it still drinks pretty well and seems balanced. Respectable.

16 oz. can dated 07-30-21. Aroma is a little weedy with wine grapes and mint. The wine barrel does a few interesting things here. The texture is bone dry and with the expected danky hop it also gives a slight fresh mint hint in the finish. Received in a trade. So not sure how much a 4 pack was but it certainly is easy to drink.

Cloudy ipa not quite neipa I guess. Nose is melon and grapefruit. Tastes of honey dew, grapefruit, grassy, lemon and floral. Mellow palate.
