Bottle from Secret Santa. I finally got around to trying this. Definately not your average tripel. Pours clear dark golden color with white head.
Aromas of Belgian yeast, dough, spices. Slightly sour flavor with dough and spices. Medium body with lively carbonation. Quite an interresting brew. Thanks Santa.

Pours a clear darkbrown to ruby beer, a fine white to beige head. A very sweet and fruity smell. Hint of caramel and coffee. A pleasant mouthfeeling, just enough carbon to counter the sweetness. Tastes a little sweet, brown sugar, that changes to sour with hints of chocolate, coffee and cherries. A sweetsour aftertaste, again with a note of cherries in it. There's a sweetness to it, but it's not a sweet beer. Very well balanced.
