A clear dark brown ale with a thin light moka head, gushed out of bottle. A nice caramelly and fruity aroma, with vanilla, a bit of chocolate and alcohol. In mouth, a bit simpler than expected, with sweet candy sugar, a bit of nuts, and a rather oily mouthfeel, a bit cloying. Not bad. Bieropholie import. BB 12-07-08.

(33cl bottle) Hazy, golden colur with a big but non-persistent frothy white head. Sweet malty aroma with notes of candied fruits, nutmeg and other spices. Bitter-sweet flavour, full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Solid malt-accented taste, minimal sugary with mild notes of lemon and a rising peppery spicy touch towards the yeasty-bitter and shy hoppy finish (26.IV.09).

Bottle, thank you very much pivnizub! Light sour nut, wood and chocolate aroma. Dark brown with a claret shine, low creamy brown head. Lightbodied, a bit hollow mouthfeel. Starts out wooden, chocolate, orangepeel, some metallic hops. Cherries retronasal. Fresh, but I really lack some chewyness to give the flavours substance.

Bottle: Golden, a bit unclear, huge fluffy white head that slowly collapses, visible carbonation; moderate sweetish-sourish aromas of fruits and grains over a solid hoppy background; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, soft-creamy MF; lingering hoppy-sweetish finish. Good brew.........

Fruty and grassy aroma, when yeast is poured in aroma turns frutier and sweeter. Full bodied palate with quite a lot of carbonation. Fruitiness, grass, sweetness and bitterness in taste. Bitter and sweet aftertaste.
