Bottle: Poured an amber color ale with a nice large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light caramel notes and light cereal notes is pleasant. Taste is a nice mix of caramel malt notes with some cereal and light dry finish is nice. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Does not reinvent the style but well brewed nonetheless.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy amber color ale with a super large off-white foamy head with great retention. Aroma of earthy hops notes with light caramel malt notes is OK. Taste is a mix of caramel malt with some earthy hops with some bitter notes that are noticeable. Body is light with extreme carbonation. Not bad overall but carbonation was way over the top for the style.

Hazy brown color with an off-white head, quickly diminishing. Aroma has notes of caramel and toasted malts. Flavor is slightly sweet, some toasty. Watery final.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 12C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch unknown. AROMA: dominant hop aroma with notes of papaya/mango, some resin and pine. background of caramelized malt. APPEARANCE: amber color and hazy. initial large ivory head that transforms into average, with good retention. TASTE: well balanced hop flavours (pine and resin) with caramelly and toffee-like malt notes. some faint esters (raisins). medium bitterness that lingers beyond a semi-dry finish. PALATE: medium-light body with moderate carbonation. no astringency. OVERALL: a very nice and balanced IPA. Recommended.

Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles’s place. Thanks Stas. Dark black-colored with a bit of tan foam. Roasty aroma with coffee and some olives. Sourish flavor, roasty, with coffee, a bit of olives and a fruity note. Medium-bodied. A bit infected, but not that bad.

TAP AT BREWPUB.
Quite close to their standard Rubia, kellerbier-style, with bready notes, juicy, hint of green fruit, young fresh beer, light tannic finish and a juicy chewy finish.

TAP AT BREWPUB.
A fresh IPA with strong grapefruit aroma, light catty notes, green hops. Dry, very little malt character, mild bitterness with tannic notes. Chewey body.

TAP AT BREWPUB.
Lots of cold coffee and an inappropriate green fruit acidity, fruit stone. Astringent finish. Mediocre.
