Bottle at GBBF 2013 and drunk at home. Hazy dark amber colour with lasting off white head. Malty aroma, indeterminate yeast aroma. Good condition. Some good peppery hop on finish. I’m guessing it’s a British Best Bitter. In that case it’s excellent. A good blend of yeast malt and hop. Really characterful and a good example of the style.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is overripe fruity. Bitter,fruity, light grassy. Bitter and mild citrusy. Crisp hoppy and light bitter finish. Toasted malty and bitter dry finish.

24/05 A 0.75l bottle courtesy of Marko, thanks for sharing! It poured hazy brown body with medium to bigger brownish head. Aroma was hoppy in peach and citrus fruity way, then caramel malty and quite yeasty. Flavor was too yeasty, chalky, somewhat sour and only a little sweet caramel and fruity, that was, I assume, meant to be the main goal of this beer. Medium bodied, rather smooth. Finished somehow rounded and pleasant with a bit of caramel malty sweetness and some toast. Fine, but nothing special regarding the style, expected more as well.

11.2oz bottle at Maxs. Unfiltered orange-tan. Massive creamy white head. Fairly unique, not sure what style I’d call this. Sweetish golden malt backbone, vibrant Belgianesque body, dry wheaty hops, straw. A nice mix of sweet and bitter. An APA meets a low alcohol Belgian Golden Ale. Very enjoyable beer. Nice depth, balance, dry edges.

First rating. Bottle at Maxs. Unfiltered orange-tan. Vivacious white head, active carbonation. Not much of an aroma, some brewhouse wheat. Nice wheat notes, lemony citrus balance. Smooth and easy drinking. Interesting herbal balance if it isn’t spiced. Really captures some nice wheat tones. Not really World Class, but nice enough and well worth the 3.50 entrance fee. Like a vibrant US Wheat with subtle lemon-line spice tones.

Bottled 750ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him and heavy. Hazy amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, yeasty fruity nose. Sweet malty, yeasty, light fruity and caramel with short bitterish finish. What a letdown, expected (much) better one.

On draft at Pizzeria Paradiso Washington DC. Pours a cloudy gold with a creamy white head. Light yeasty aroma. Biscuit flavors with a bitter citrus peel note. Bitter finish.
