Description
The brewery was set up at the end of 2004 in a beautiful farmhouse called “L’Olmaia” in Val D’Orcia, near Siena, Tuscany, initially as a small firm producing up to 300 litres per batch.
In 2009 it was relocated a few kilometers to the east in the area of Sant’Albino, near Montepulciano, where the products could be sold directly to the public. Throughout the year we produce 6 types of beer, plus some special seasonal beers, all of which are strictly unpasteurized, unfiltered and re-fermented, both in the keg and in the bottle. The production plant was built, according to our production needs, by the company Tefo of Parma, and it now has a production capacity of 2,500 litres per batch thanks to 4 cylindroconical fermentation tanks with a capacity of 2,500 litres and 2 with a capacity of 1,500 litres.
Inside the Brewery you can find the Tap Room with 6 beers on tap, cold cuts, cheeses and bottled beers.

Bottled. An unclear dark amber beer with a huge lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and alcohol, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

16/07/2011 La Tana (tap). Classica blanche, opalescente, torbida, magnifica schiuma bianca abbondante e persistente.

The bottle is 3 years old
It pours yellow, cloudy, flat, without head. The aroma gains some light acidity that is pleasant. The body is light, with some honeyish flavor, and mild lemony acidity. Refreshing.

No aroma. Clear orange, thin head. Tart, lemony with a slight orange pulp character. Enjoyable, but timid when chilled. Herbal notes of oregano are more discernible when warm.
