500 mL bottle brought back by one of my bosses. Thanks David! Pours a hazy reddish bronze color with a thin head. Interesting aroma with lots of citrus and candied citrus notes. Lots of toffee as well. Bitter hoppy taste with lots of citrus, resin and herbal notes. Slight toffee malts. Slightly off balance. Medium bodied. Good beer.

Bottle: Poured a deep amber color ale with a rather large foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of light bitter hops with lightly sweet caramel malt. Taste is also a nice enough mix between some caramel malt with light residual sugar and some bitter hops at the end. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Not bad but nothing spectacular.

Bottle: Poured a deep copper color ale with a light foamy head with some retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of dry fruits with distinctive notes of plums and figs with some well balanced sweetness. Taste is also a quite complex mix between some dry plums and figs with notes of balanced sweet caramel malt. Body is about average with good carbonation and no signs of alcohol. Very well done overall and glad that brewer still see the point of brewing barleywine without throwing a ton of hops at them.

Bottle: Poured a deep hazy dirty brown color ale with a quite large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of bitter and citrus hops is dominating with s very noticeable malt backbone. Taste is also dominated by some citrus and bitter hops with a nice West coast feels and a very nice malt backbone with light dry characteristics. Body is full with limited filtration and good carbonation with no apparent alcohol. Very well done and something I would like to try more often.

500mL bottle shared by JoeMcPhee. Poured into a copita glass with a larger brown head and a black body. Aroma is partially affected by the overcarbonation, take some elements away from it. Otherwise, there is a good amount of roast and light cocoa maltiness. The flavor is nicely balanced with the thick roast, cocoa and light dark fruit sweetness. It’s easy drinking yet full of flavor. Just needs a little less carbonation.

500mL bottle shared by JoeMcPhee, poured into a copita glass. Color is chestnut brown. Aroma is British wet malts, light musky and very ESB-like. Taste is similar, I do not get any kind of spiced character but a wet and dark cold night kind of feel from it. Otherwise, average carbonation and medium mouthfeel.

Had in bottle in Lunenberg. Golden-amber colour. Quite caramelly, earthy nose with a little bit of flora hop. Quite earthy in the body, with a light woody taste, moderate bitterness and a decently dry finish.

Pours dark brown and flat. The aroma is a smoky-molasses with lots of wood, maybe rye bread. Soft, sweet and smooth, with mellow molasses and a light hint of woodiness.

500ml bottle from mullet2007! Thanks!! Nose of bigtime coffee, roastiness, and chocolate; clear very dark brown with a small tan head; flavor is coffee, rich creamy chocolate, and a very light background bitterness. Finish has a very light bitterness combined with some chocolate. Mouthfeel is very creamy. As good as most Impy stouts
