Dark reddish brown ale with a thin off-white head, collapsing. Sweet butterscotch and caramelized sugars with signs of oxidation. In mouth, a good sweet nutty malt, and roasted bread. A point of acidity is perceived. A medium bodied and slightly oily mouthfeel. Bought at brewery March 2005.

Amber indeed with a thick collapsing white head. Sweet malt and apple overtones, a bit of nail remover solvents too. Sweet biscuity malt with rather sharp hops dissapearing fast. Grapefruit and fruit esters are retained longer. Medium bodied. Bought at brewery March 2005.

A brown beer with a disappearing orange head. The aroma is sweet roasted malty combined with nutty notes. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of nuts as well as roasted malt, which gives it a dry end. Nice.

Hazy blonde colour with a nice off-white head. Aroma of pure chiles and some malt. Light to Medium-bodied; Spicey flavour with some noticeable malt, but little else than the heat. Overall, very interesting to try, I’m glad I had the opportunity! I sampled this beer on 15-May-2004 at the May RB Party in Toronto, Onatrio.

Clear dark brown colour with ruby highlights and a nice light brown head. Aroma of nuts, coffee and caramel. Light-bodied; Nutty flavour with good coffee highlights. Aftertaste very pleasant, no harsh bitterness-just a good sweetness. Overall, nice-thanks Jeremy (jercraigs) for bringing this one! I sampled this 12 ounce bottle on 15-May-2004 at the May RB Party in Toronto, Ontario.

This Brown ale pours a reddish brown with not much of a head. The scents include roasted malts, sweet molassass, and a slight yeasty doughy scent. Maybe a small amount of alcohol on the nose. First sip is slighly flat. Flavour starts with a roasted brown sugar flavour and moves to almost a burnt coffee. Small amount of smoke flavor too. The finish is thin but flavourfull due to the lack of carbonation. Palate is thick and sweet. Good, better with more carb!

Hazy dark brown. Very coffeeish aroma with some nuttiness. Weak Tim Horton's coffee flavour. Thin body. Not that I've said this about a coffee beer before, but one-dimensional and unimpressive. Waiting for a tea beer - like that lapsang souchong homebrew I was promised for the Ratebeer Homebrew Competition.

Very dark brown. Roasty stout nose with some late hop. Dry, hoppy stout...the finish is roasty and chocolatey. Perhaps a bit thin but decent.
