Bottle. Deep gold with an off white head. Aroma of citrus blossoms, peach, somewhat cheesy yeast. Certainly yeasty but fairly light and fruity with a neatly bitter finish. Perhaps a little strong for what it offers but pretty nice.

Smell-weak hops, later some fruits. Foam- thin bit to medium, hops, acidic notes, and more bitter hops. The head is small, white color or creamy white color. Sticks. Appearance- nice-looking brewer bottle cap, classic look. Hazy orange color, low carbonation. From- snifter Taste- hops, bitterness, a bit of citrus and bit of yeast. All quite overwhelmed with more hops and bitterness what stay in the aftertaste for quite some time. Mix with alcohol is good, I barely feel it, but it is present. A bit too bitter for me, but its IPA, would like it to be a bit more fruity.

0.33 bottle, This one expired almost a week ago if we take common world date into account, but as this is an American beer, the date is probably also American format so it should be fine.. maybe? Smell-medium strong, malt, roast, coffee, caramel Foam- medium-thick, roast, bitter notes, coffee. The head is quite large, medium-dark brown color. Appearance- nice-looking brewer bottle cap, classic look. Color seems to be black, weak carbonation present. From - snifter Taste - roast, malt, coffee, bitterness, and alcohol. It does seem quite full but bitterness in a bit high for my tasting, but I get used to it. Still decent beer.

bottle@home. Dark golden with not so stable head. Yeasty aromas, some vinegar. Taste is malty, dry, notes of dried fruit. Finishes long with some bitterness.

330ml Bottle - Dark brown in colour. Fruitcake, spice and caramel in the aroma. Fruity and fairly rich taste with notes of fruitcake, dates and figs.

Bottle from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours very dark, but held against a very strong LED lamp it is almost clear and very ruddy. Creamy/foamy beige head. Aroma is spicy with roasty, nigh toasty malt. There's a hint of something herbal. Approaching full bodied. The malt is toasty - approaching actual toast. There's spice which seems clove; there's fruit which seem bananaish. I really like plummy quads, but now I'm thinking I like hefe quads. :) :) There's a heat burn that's quite tolerable. Trying hard, I'm also finding dark fruit, so it's something of a plummy quad. Not dry, but far from sticky. Bitter enough for the situation. I could drink this frequently.

Can from Cap Tap. Pours translucent orange tinged gold with a creamy beige head. Aroma of pale stone fruits. Some citrus. Med body or a bit more. Flavor is citrus, pale stone fruits and arguably pamplemousse. It's dry, tho malt support is detectable. Hoppy and bitter. Approaching the old NW bitterness, but with a more diverse hop mix. Very good indeed.
