From a 375ml can on 17/10/2019. Pours a cloudy golden with a smallish head. Has a really powerful coconut and mango nose. The flavour is more of the same, massive amounts of sweet mango mixed with coconut milk, finished off by a quite assertive, sharp bitterness. Has a milky texture and average carbonation. I'm a bit torn with this. It's strikingly original and flavoursome on the one hand, but on the other, there's something about it that's a touch weird. I can see some people loving it, so worth a try.

Pours hazy amber, lasting head.Nose shows tomato and celery along with a bit of cracked pepper.Flavours include more tomato and celery along with a bit of bitterness in the finish.Does what it says but the flavours don't really work.

On tap at Hopfest #13 at Alehouse Project. Pours hazy orange. Big citrus nose. requisite chewiness. Excellent use of the more sour citrus flavours as there is none of the sweetness that can render NEIPAs hard to chug. Lovely drop.

Lots of burnt toast, coffee and dark chocolate, plus a little accused in the mouth. Lovely.

The overwhelming aroma is spearmint, which translates as pine needles in the mouth. The taste is softened with melon and stone fruit. Challenging but rewarding.

GABS Auckland 2018. Pours black. Smoke, bit of chocolate, bit of toast, lots of umami smoke. Medium body. Missed the balance a bit.

Taster on tap at Aether Brewing. Pours golden. Pine nose. Full-bodied, with some caramel malts coming through under the big sprucy hops.
